Infertility Counseling
“If it were not for hope, the heart would break.”
~English Proverb
When faced with fertility challenges, our whole lives can be affected in the quest to conceive. You may struggle with multiple losses or indecision around family-building methods or treatment options. You may experience relationship difficulties – with partners, friends, and family.
Many feel consumed by the process, physically and emotionally drained. Sadness, anger, and worry may cloud your experience and exacerbate the struggle. It is not uncommon to feel defective and hopeless. On top of this, you may experience a loss of faith in goodness or in yourself.
I assist you by offering support and understanding as you answer the difficult questions and gain more hope and resolve around your next steps and choices.
Special attention is given to the mind-body relationship, and to a person’s relationship with self and others. I use a self-care building approach while fostering insight into the greater meaning a challenge poses in a person’s life. You deserve someone familiar with and skilled in this area to support and guide you.
